Name your favorite pizza pie place in Northwest Indiana. This could be present or from the past.

My personal favorite is the Old Mill Pizzeria at 73rd and Madison.

Shakeys was not all that good, but it was all you could eat. Lots of video games and I will never forget the silent films on the big screen.

My vote is for Gelsosomo's pizza in Portage on County Line and Route 6. They have the vest flavor, the best crusts and the size of the pizza pie fits the price of the pizza.

Giordanos! Use to be in front of Kmart in Merrillville. YUMMM! The wait was usually an hour to be seated and then another 45 min to hour to get the food, but it was always worth it!

Giordanos! Use to be in front of Kmart in Merrillville. YUMMM!

Why did they close anyhow. Maybe the building is cursed? That American doughnut shop folded too :rotfl:

Good question. Now I am wondering the same thing!

Verona's Pizza - Hammond and Merrillville! They have the best deep dish. The crust is the bomb - crunchy on the outside and clean on the inside The toppings... MMMMM the toppings! Sausage was chunky and there was loadf of it. I am going to order one now. :hi:
